Why do cats lick their bottoms? is it to take the taste of their kitty kat dinner away?
They lick all over their bodies, it's to clean themselves. Although I can't imagine cat food is a great culinary treat for them, that Whiskers stuff that you have to squidge out of a pouch makes me feel ill

Try more salt with it!!

It's their nature. I had a cat for over 17 years, they lick themselves all over their body to make their fur look more tidy.

Yes Cat's lick themselves purely to clean themselves,that includes their bottom,after all we wouldn't go out without washing our bottoms would we?

Our cat Floyd is on medication on the moment,as every summer he gets allergic to pollen bites etc.
The medication increases his appetite,so he always pestering for food!
