RIP Alex Higgings, one of snookers greats.
Terrible to see him so ill, I think we all knew that sadly he didn't have long left with us.

Indeed. He was on tv at this year's World Championships. They showed a clip of him at one of the legends tournaments. He looked in a bad way.
One of the true natural talents of the game. RIP.

Never forget the emotion of his win in '82, bringing the kid on which was unheard of and the Hurricane crying "Mammy".
Saw him play live in Warrington once and he was brilliant.
