The figures were expected and predicted before the election,obviously didn't impress the electorate.

Bliar is an utter s**t head of the most mammoth calibre. He was swept into power on a tide of good will (mine included) and did so little with it except drag us into disastrous millitary conflict. The only decent thing they did for me was the smoking ban, (I am an ashtmatic who finally has a social life) but that came about almost by accident as a private members bill and a free vote. What on earth was his legacy except a web of lies. A lie is very much like a web. Each time one is broken, a new one is spun. I wouldn't wipe my a**e with his book, even though it will be a tissue. A tissue of lies.

Lets just say under the last Conservative Gov Crime was recorded & reported fully one of the first things Labour did when they got it was to change the way Crime is recorded & Hey presto...... Crime went down..... to say Crime goes up or down depending on who is in power is a stupid argument Oh and don't forget they also changed the way NHS waiting lists were reported.... So if u were on a 3 year waiting list for an operation..... you were being treated & there for NOT on a waiting list !!!

& finally when Labour lose the election they Kindly inform the New Gov... there is nothing in the bank we spent it all..... But DON'T ask us on what cos we haven't got a clue.... now that IS Criminal !!!!!!!

Both the last two posts are the reason why "New"Labour let their core vote down,and suffered the consequences.I'm glad to see that the coalition are doing away with "Targets" not only with Police but also the NHS,perhaps they can both get on with their jobs rather than spend wasteful time compiling lists to give to the government.

There has been a hell of a lot spent on schools and hospitals. I know, I work in construction, and this was needed desparately after the Tories ran them into the ground for 18 years. As for the Quangos and many other things, including millitary mis-adventure, utterly wasteful.

10% reduction in crime, so let's see a 10% reduction in the police.
If it were any other area of life this would happen (e.g. a 10% reduction in fires would see a 10% reduction in the fire service).

The same could apply to MP's,if in an election there was a 60% turnout,lets see a 40% cut in MP's

1 simple law introduced before the next election would solve a lot of problems in our government. They have to do everything they put down in their manifesto's, if they lie it involves a long jail term, if they set themselves unrealistic targets and don't meet them they get sacked and can't run for MP again in their lives. Be interesting to see how much they promise us then!!!!!
