The odd time i have a look to see who's in the "Charts" as it where,and i see Mancot Blue still holds an unassailable lead with 33,007 posts up to 23.30 on Feb 14.
But i wonder whether he does,hasn't he had a few variations of his name on this board? So in fact he may not hold the lead under the name Mancot Blue?
There is a large gap before the second person in the charts,"Ali" with only 17,653 posts.
Interesting to see that my Great Nephew,Colin Potts(12,664) is just about to be caught by none other than his Uncle(12,609) NFBF!

Alot has been made of my post count but, let's be fair, that's been built up over the course of seven years. It's probably balanced out now.

If you go on someone's profile, it shows the average posts per day. For example, Mancot will make 12.94 posts per day.

where did the forum come from and how did people first find out about it?

Pre 2003 it was a very basic forum with a blue background. All the messages appeared as a big list with all replies appearing underneath them. I seem to remember a lot of people didn't like the current design at first, myself included, as it seemed complicated compared to the old one.

Devachat was started in 2000 I think so this year will be its 10th birthday. I seem to remember the official site at the time had a forum which some people used, so for a while there were two CCFC forums that we regularly posted on. Personally I didn't like the OWS forum much and started using DC as soon as it came into usage

I remember the "old" old forum some eight or nine years ago. How it's very, very different now.

Looking at other forums i would rate ours as the most easy to understand and very easy to use!
