H M Revenue and Customs v City.

A tough looking away fixture at the Royal Courts of Justice, the Strand, London, WC2A 2LL.

HMRC have been in full training for two months for this one and gave fair warning back in November that they intend to give us a tough time. They will put a strong team out and will look to deliver a knockout blow, one that will signal to all opponents that they mean business whenever they take to the field.

Will a crushing defeat signal a swift end to a troubled season? unsure.gif

LOL thread of the year already.

Agree with the above prediction, too.

I fear SV has a game plan in mind, an unexpected swift counter-attack to leave HMRC totally flat-footed.

He's already left them flummoxed by indicating they'll be more poeple attending than those who will actually turn out for the match unsure.gif

A frank and productive game, but neither side able to gain the upper hand on the day

Who's going to this one? If you're all going to The Strand, clap your hands! cityscarf.gif

Seriously, anyone thinking of going? Anyone think it will be worthwhile? Will it be a 10 second thing, or will there be club reps there etc? I'd go if it was in the least bit informative.

Let's all go down the Strand...

I reckon match A-A, with a future fixture date to be set.

Is this a wind-up?

Crushing victory for the Vaughan family with new signing Maison playing a starring role unsure.gif

Looks more and more like an uncontested home win is on the cards. We've got nothing up front and no defense. First goal will win it...

1-0 to them. Ed Barrister to run rings round our defense and score the goal.
NWAS
I predict a 28 day adjournement.
kishonadish
I believe a dismissal of Vaughan is likely due to his previous form in these encounters. The opposition are far too experienced and we are poor in defence. They will attack from the kick off and from experience of previous encounters are relentless in their pursuit of their goal.
