Was speaking to Daz from Runcorn at the NFSL cup final on Sunday and he tells me you boys have applied to enter the NFSL next season. I told him I would welcome you into the NFSL with open arms and he seems keen too, good luck.

PS, FAO Mancot, sorry to hear about you leaving DCFC, hope you stay in football as your commitment is second to none.
Scott
How come Mancot left?
Woody
Really hope that news about Mancot isn't true. Despite everything that's been said between the two of us over the past few years, his dedication to DCFC will surely be missed if he leaves.

The rumour is that DCFC played in a tournament and Mancot, as manager, was the only player who played every minute of every game, and the rest of the DCFC lads didn't like it and told him he wasn't wanted any more.

Like I said Mancot, hope you stay in football as no one can knock your enthusiasm or commitment. Maybe worth getting involved with someone like Carlton Athletic?

Not sure where that has come from, but is there no smoke without fire?

Of the 120 minutes of overall gametime at the Merseyside Tournament (4 x 30-minute matches), I played 75 minutes. Granted, it's probably a disproportionate amount compared to certain other squad members, but it isn't "every minute of every game" and I would be disappointed if my former team-mates were saying things like the above quote about me - particularly to players of another team, during a match.

There may have been mutterings behind my back about certain things (in all likelihood, there probably were), and I may not have been wanted anymore, but I wasn't forced out. I took the decision, myself, to step away from Deva Chat FC due to a number of reasons, which I won't go into here, that contributed to me simply not enjoying it anymore. For me, anyway, it was no longer what it should be about - fun, enjoyment, 'craic' and so on. I did not feel I could justify continuing with something I no longer enjoyed doing. However, I do wish to remain in football.

I wish Phill, Mark, Andy and the rest of the team all the best for the future.

There you go, a break of my silence in order to quell any rumours!

Bloody hell Mike! You'd be no good working for MI5 or the CIA!
After speaking to Mancot and a couple of the DC lads it would seem it was a number of factors and the fact that MB wasn't enjoying it anymore.

Good luck to the lad anyway! It's a thankless task running a footy club these days I'm afraid!

Yeah, they are a decent side but Everton are going to be the ones to beat I think.

Yeah congratulations on that win over Runcorn mate, they are no where near one of the best sides in the NFSL though even though they are on for their best ever finish, and I dunno if its true but Daz did say he played all the lads who havent had a regular game this season against you.

Its true that Everton are the team to beat, they have 1 player I wouldn't mind CCFC sign in Onions. All teams have improved a lot since the days you boys played for AFC though, Accy are a class act, Liverpool have improved and FC United are very strong. Also watch out for Wr**h*m next season, they have been signing on league of wales players and ex-pro's, since then they have won 5 and drew 1, and that was against Everton!!!!

Look forward to you joining the NFSL next season though, its gonna be class next season and I can only see the standard getting higher.
