I seem to be getting a few issues where DC seems to disappear for 30 seconds - 1 minute usually when refreshing the screen. It happens on the 2 computers that I have so I don't think that it's a setting issue on my machines. Any suggestions?

Often I close the window down, try to get back on to DC and the timer comes up. Give it 2 mins and it pops back on again.

Hi everyone, I'm a newbie and I have just registered yesterday.
I have an issue which I would like to bring to the moderators or the people that run Deva Chat.
When trying to register I was told that web based email such as Googlemail, Yahoo or Hotmail were not allowed.
That is where I have a problem. My old email address is with Freeserve and at the moment I am getting over 1000 spam per day. Since registering yesterday evening my spam folder contains 695 messages so evidently I do not like using it.
I have had two web based email addresses for many years and never had any problem, so I would like to know, please, why aren't web based emails allowed and could you please tell me how I can use Deva Chat without using my Freeserve email?

Web-based email addresses are not allowed due to abuse of the system (multiple log-ins to cause havoc etc). I'm sure if you PM krankie he can sort you out, though.
