Hi all, Exeter City fan here.

I am part of our supporter's team, ECFCYST, and was wondering whether you have a fans team that we could play when we travel to Chester in 2 weeks? If not, then do some of you fancy getting a side together to face us?

We do mate, but we're actually set to play Halifax on the 21st. There is another one, but they play on Sundays - it's the members Mike Griffiths and Woody you'd need to talk to about that one.

I'll pin this to give Mike and Woody a better chance of spotting it.

I don't arrange games for AFC Chester anymore. I'll give Hez and Mused a shout and ask them to take a look at this thread and get back to you.

Prob not a goer for AFC, sorry. We have a couple of lads who have to work on Saturdays and also it's the game of the decade against Wr**h*m the following day!

Right so is this a definate no then? It's just that i need to know so that i can get our transport and squad sorted if it's a yes...

I thought AFC Chester were set up to play supporters teams from our league who want to play a game of footy before the main event ? Or was that Devachat FC ?

I played football for Chester supporters in the late 80's (may have been early 90's), Colin Mansley was running it then (I think I was p**sed most of the time).

Well done to the Exeter lads who came up to play DCFC before the main game.

You were all a good group of lads and getting up at 5.30am must not have been too enjoyable.

A good clean game ended 7 - 3 to DCFC

I just hope you still think it was worth it after exeter didn't show up saturday in the main game!
