Me too. These 5 folds, 6 folds etc are just not the way to make money betting on gootball. It's just dart throwing...you may get one up once in a while, but you'll lose money long-term, guaranteed.

More fun though in my opinion. It's always a laugh when you've stuck a quid on a possible £3k return only for the first result on the sheet to go 2-0 down in the first 10 mins.

Granted, it gives you an interest in the games, and that's why the bookies make so much money on football. Gambling is about making a profit. I used to do accumulators when i was a kid, but soon realised you couldn't make any money that way. It's singles and occasionally doubles for me.

do him anytime in most games 1st scorer when hes a decent price which after today wont be for a while.why they still offer odds on murphy 1st goal is beyond me.

Had a tenner on us to win today, plus i usually have a couple of quid on the 'mini sections' on the coupon for a bit of fun. With 3 of my 4 winning (Wolves, Rangers and Chelsea) just need the Toffee's to do the right thing against Stoke tomorrow and i'll be a combined total of £44.26 richer than i was on Friday!

I'd have to agree with Ron too about accumulators. I tend to do quite well on the old mini sections, but anything more than a four-fold is really just asking for trouble - there's always one upset that cocks up your slip.

I haven't made a bet since I blew £20 in two days the other weekend.

My bets rolled in. I had LEEDS, BURY, ARSENAL and SHREWSBURY. Only had £2 and it paid £23, that paid for my match ticket and fish and chips yesterday.
