Yes and yes. Just remember that they NEVER email you - they post messages to you after you've logged in. Just let me know your account number, login and password and I'll show you how it works....

With the Halifax, never had a problem. What is 100% safe these days?
Check it on a regular basis and if a theft does occur, then the bank will normally reimburse you.

No problems with it. Sometimes setting it up can take awhile due to the security but better that and being safe. I have it with my main bank and also 3 credit cards and it makes life a bit easier. My main bank now is sending me a card reader to make security better I suppose.

I've had a halifax account for a number of years and had no problems at all. I also have a Nationwide account which I use less regularly but again, have never had any issues with.
TBH, in this day and age as long as you have all the correct antispyware, antivirus etc, it shouldn't make a difference what website you go on.

I've had a couple of fraudulent internet transactions on my bank account, all re-imbursed (eventually). It's a pain in the a**e 'cause you have to wait for new cards and PIN nos, hassle I could do without. Having said all that I wouldn't be without oline banking now.

I'm with Barclays and the online banking is very good, never had a problem, and have just received a card reader for added security.
