It's certainly not great money, I've put up 8 CDs and they're only offering me £11.11.
Still, it's a hassle free way to get rid of unwanted CDs for a bit of cash, and they sort out the postage and packaging for you. If I can find some more CDs I'm willing to part with, I might consider it. Maybe get it up to £30-40 which wouldn't go amiss right now
Try sellig them on Amazon - I've got rid of quite a few on there.
I've sold CDs on Amazon and eBay and you get a more reasonable amount for them, but I've found it a lot of hassle when you have to sort out postage (especially if it's overseas. No matter how clearly and politely you ask people to get it touch with you before bidding if they're from another country, you often get some guy from Canada or Hong Kong diving in), then chasing people up for things like payment, plus it takes quite a long time just to list items.
Also, last time I sold CDs on Amazon, I got five or six offensive e-mails from some keyboard warrior chav who was effing and blinding at me in capital letters because his CD hadn't turned up yet. He insisted I was trying to rip him off rather than there just being a slight delay in the post, which made no sense given that I offered him a refund. In the end I said I wasn't going to speak to him anymore unless he was going to be civil, and I would report him to Amazon if he carried on. Strangely, he shut up after that and said the CD had turned up the next morning.
