As some of you may have picked up from my FaceBook, I am doing a casual jaunt next week from the UK to Italy in 72 hours, in a beaten up, crumbling old Saab that cost me £200! There's 8 of us going (we have 2 cars) all pimped up - the Saab is an 80's American Cop Car, the Granada we have is a pirate ship...and it should prove to be interesting going over the Alps in these things dressed as convicts and Jack Sparrow characters...
Obviously I'm using the opportunity of risking my life and a long walk home to raise money for a good cause. This year its Cancer Research UK who will be benefitting and we have a sponsor page at www.justgiving.com/crumball08 along with our own website showcasing the cars, participants and updates after it happens at www.quantum-monkey.co.uk/crumball08.html Its still a site in progress but hopefully over the next 24 hours it will be finished - keep checking!
I'll be posting in the off-topic forum also but thought I would give the DevaChat FC faithful the opportunity to stick your sponsorship down before anyone else on here. Please dont feel obliged, or to equal some of the scary amounts already put on there - any donation would be more than welcome no matter how much.
