CHANGES FOR CHATTERS
DEVA CHAT FC have unveiled their new club crest this week, to be featured first on a brand new away kit.
The new crest, designed by Deva Chat member Pumps, is a variation of Chester City's emblem and incorporates the oak leaves in blue and white and the red and blue background.
There is also a variation on the wolf's head as an entire wolf is featured, with the eye represented by a mouse cursor to signify the club's status as an internet-based football team.
This replaces the previous crest, which was similar to that of fellow Chester City supporters team AFC Chester.
The new away strip, on which the club crest will make its debut, will be provided and sponsored by Nantwich-based PG Sports and will feature full squad numbers and player names for all 24 outfield players and the 2 goalkeepers at the club.
It will be a yellow shirt with black trim, black shorts and yellow socks.
Chatters player-boss Nath Auty said: "The new club crest is impressive. We wanted to move away from the previous design, which was similar to that of AFC Chester. It is the most noticeable aspect of showing that we our own team now.
"Many, many thanks go to Deva Chat's Pumps for all his hard work and various designs untill we had the final finished product, and we are delighted to announce that he will be receiving one of our new away shirts as a thank you.
"The provision of the new away kit by PG Sports of Nantwich is also fantastic, and to show our appreciation to them we offered them the opportunity to sponor the front of the shirts which we are delighted they took up.
"Having player names and full squad numbers printed on all the strips is a nice, classy touch and we can't wait to get started.
"We plan to also obtain a new home kit in the future, which will enable us to incorporate our new club crest, but for now the idea is to make use of our new away kit as often as possible."
