No Mrs NFBF and i are not getting divorced;although she is still very grumpy with me(Quite rightly!) for getting bad tempered putting that Flat Pack Computer Desk together; ( really did bring the worst out of me) No we are getting our Wills updated.I dont want to leave this Mortal Coil without remembering Mr Potts. So if anybody else wants to give me good reason why i should leave them anything;you have 12 hours to convince me why i should.

I am Mancot Blue. Surely that's a good enough reason to leave me a few packets of pork scratchings and your flat pack computer desk?

No big deal really;if you have young children it will be to nominate someone who would look after them if you were both killed in an accident;otherwise (as in our case) just making sure that if one of you dies;that the other one inherits;distributing your worldly goods otherwise. huh.gif

Cheers mate.Have got a four year old lad so thats obviously going to be the main thing then. How much detail and depth does it go into?Nothing to hide like just wondering if its straight forward or a minefield.

No it will be a question and answer session;for your own sake ;to make sure the little boy is looked after;and you will need to see who is going to be your excutor;the person who will see that the will is followed through;reliable member of the family will do;(that would only be in the unlikely chance of you both dying together) We were at our Solicitors for about 20 mins this morning;go next week to sign it.No minefield or anything. Its for your benefit at the end of the day. happy.gif

What do solicitors charge to do a will , do they vary , or are they the same price ?

Mrs. Wazza & myself have been quoted £164 , which seems alot .

Weve been quoted about £80 plus vat. £164 seems a lot;have you got a complicated will or something? Some solicitors are doing "Charity" Wills in November;rather than pay the solicitor you make a donation to charity.Another way of doing it;is if were to leave £500 to Cancer Research in your Will;THEY will pay the Solicitor for doing the Will. happy.gif
