For those devachatters that haven't got one, this is probably the most prestigious programme in Chester's history.

The Chester v Aston Villa semi-final was a very exciting game to be at. This is a great one to add to any City collection!

Mancot Blue
Sold for £16.55 plus £1 postage.

I'm chuffed, it's worth a helluva lot more than I paid for it. Something I'll cherish for a long time biggrin.gif
mole
if this is the most prestigious programme in our history, why have you sold it?
Mancot Blue
I haven't sold it! I won the Ebay auction. Think you misunderstood my post mate.
mole
no why is 3mm selling it, sorry i should have quoted him
Mancot Blue
I don't think 3mm was selling it. I think he just stumbled upon it on Ebay. It looks as if the seller is a typical programme collector, programmes of all types and clubs.
mole
ok i just thought he was giving it a plug on here, thats all
banjo
I have this programme with all the ccfc players autographs on it.How much do you think its worth ?

You won it?

Are you "howardmartin" on ebay then? The same "howardmartin" that purchased Madonna tickets on there in July? blush.gif
Mancot Blue
It's actually my old man "Aussie's" Ebay account and he did all the bidding for me - on the programme, not the Madonna tickets!

Don't worry, I fully intend to pay up tongue.gif

You say that now.

Mancot is right, it wasn't me selling it, I was just highlighting it as a piece of memorabilia that was highly collectable to Chester supporters. You don't see many of them for sale these days, so Well Done for winning Mancot! smile.gif

WOW!

As with everything, it depends on what people are prepared to pay for it. I'd have thought a lot of Chester supporters would see that as a fantastic item. Quite a lot, I would think!

I believe one of the rarest programmes in our history is the FA cup match at sealand road against Chelsea 51/52, has anyone got a copy?

There's a Chester v Aston Villa Semi Final programme for sale here if anyone is interested
http://footballprogrammesdirect.co.uk/catalogue.htm
Just scroll down to semi final section £15 plus postage. citysign.GIF

The Chester v Chelsea cup replay programme is so rare i've never seen it and i have never seen it come up
for sale or auction with any dealers in 30 years of collecting.
So you could say as rare as rocking horse poo.
