Just a friendly warning Phil. The Chester sunday league starts this sunday and there are 2 games on at Westminister park, kicking off at 11.

Cheers Mike, done my homework too and we'll be fine, plenty of space around Wesi anyway.

I know, just warning you in case you were planning on using the goals or something.

Do you have to pay to train on wessi? If not, whats the pound subs for? Just curious.
Mancot Blue
Club funds.

We are not charged to train at Wesi but charge a minimal £1 for the session all of which goes in the club bank account to put towards training gear, match day costs and petrol costs for drivers when we go to away games.

The old DCFC / AFC team charged £2 when training at Wesi, Hoole or Garden City but we decided to keep the price to a pound as a wont be travelling as far as you guys on away days, so it works for us.

Fair enough. We haven't been doing that for the last year but it might be worth doing it now.

Do you pay for people's petrol out of club funds then Phil? Just asking because I am looking at ways to get to our away games and minibuses seem very expensive.

As yet we have only played two away games and only one outside of Chester so have not implemented this idea, but for the next away game we intend to supplement each driver with a set amount from Club Funds meaning a lower match day cost to each player which hopefully will make the long distance away day more appealing financially. Might be worth looking at that for a trip like Barrow away Mike.

We've been charging a minimal fee for training since we started up earlier this year and have been able to afford all the training gear we need, as well as buying a brand new kit with all the trimmings and thanks to our sponsor and generous paypal donations we have got a sufficent amount in the bank account for any future purchases we need.

I think this sounds like a good route to go down for all the away trips, I think I'll take that idea mate. Cheers.
