I think its the one at the actual score rather than the one across the road.

A re-vitalised Doves played outstanding for 90 minutes, where as we suffered a blow after 2nd choice keeper was stretchered off early on forcing defender Classic Cabana to don the gloves!
Back to the training ground for DCFC who have now registered one of each possible results during our first 3 matches

5-1 in fact.
We were shocking today, they were better than last time.

Yeh, We we're missing 3 key players and had our keeper carried off early on meaning a defender had to go in, which disrupted our plans but The Doves were very good and had players back from hols and deserved the win, back to the training ground before the next game in September...

As for the game itself... I think The Doves frustrated DevaChat and the difference between the 2 sides was the finishing. The chances were there to be taken and things just went The Doves way this time. Good luck for the season ahead DCFC

I think the result illustrates perfectly what happened to Chester and Sunderland recently. If you lose a key player early enough the opposition can (and probably will) turn you over. It's not science rocket.
I was hoping to pop down and watch but I'm glad I didn't now. I'd much prefer to see a victory!
What was the official attendance btw?

The Doves 11-2 Deva Chat FC
Deva Chat FC made the short trip across Chester for their third game since the reformation and immediately found themselves up against it after suffering two early injury blows. Firstly forward Phill Lambe collided with the on-rushing Doves goalkeeper after only two minutes, which led to Lambe having to be replaced by young whippersnapper Joe Cartwright half way through the first half after suffering mild concussion. A second injury, to replacement keeper Nathan Spence, soon followed after he slipped whilst collecting a through ball and twisted his knee. DCFC had no sub keeper for the day, so it led to centre half Joe Mills having to don the gloves to deputise in goal for The Chatters, with Jon Hughes replacing Spence.
An experimental defence, playing too high up the pitch, combined with a pacy Doves forward line was the main punishment during the first half for the Chatters, who found themselves trailing by six goals with only minutes left of the first half. Striker Mark Ephgrave found himself on the end of a Bobby Fellows pass from the left to pull one back before the half time whistle.
Half-time: The Doves 6-1 Deva Chat FC
Lambe and Ephgrave decided to mix things up at half time making just one change in personnel but wholesale positional changes, and they started the half the brighter side. Stef Lambe dropped back from midfield to solidify the defence and the Chatters looked much more threatening going forward. They soon found themselves on the score sheet again when a Bobby Fellows throw-in was shielded by Ephgrave into the path of Joe Cartwright who opened his DCFC scoring account on his second appearance for the side.
Whilst the performance improved greatly during the second half, Deva Chat FC found themselves having to attack in order to find a way back into the game which obviously left them exposed at the back - a risk the management were prepared to take. Ultimately The Doves fitness shone and they were able to capitalise on the break whilst The Chatters pushed men forward and added five further goals.
Probably the highlight of the game was when defender Joe Mills produced a great save from a Doves penalty after unexpectingly taking the reigns from Nathan Spence.
Overall The Doves deserved the victory and looked a different team to that who were comfortably beaten just two weeks earlier. Deva Chat FC have learnt a lot from the performance and head straight back to the training ground tomorrow evening. A month of gruelling training activity awaits the Chatters before the they host a Coca Cola League One supporters team at home in September.
