Toaster
I just don't need all this s**t, none of us do!

After a stressful day at work where you get a huge work load thrust on to you with an hour of your day left subsequently meaning you have to stay late, you don't need to come home and find a load of s**t written about you on various websites!

Well thats it, obviously some people don't want me to play football so from now on TOASTER QUITS PLAYING for DCFC!!

Woody has gone out of his way to stop my DCFC career, not only on Deva Chat but on other forums too!! And Griff, i think you have posted more on the DCFC forum than any other poster, get over it, you play for St AFC Chesterburghs now, NOT DCFC!

I have really enjoyed training with you guys and even found some scoring form which has done my confidence a world of good! And you gave me a chance to get back into the game after a break which included moving house and starting a new job, thanks.

It breaks my heart but i hope it will stop all the pointless bickering and childish displays which have been rife since the new dawning of the real DCFC.

I don't really want to say any more on the matter but if you do have any questions i am sure Woody and Griff will be more than happy to continue sharing their views with you!

Thanks
Mancot Blue
It really is such a shame that two outsiders have spoilt Toaster's enjoyment of being part of the team with their bitter obsession. Shame on you both.

Whats next cancelling Christmas? Too much fun is it?

Watch out parents they may be going to a kids playschool tomorrow to steal all your childrens toys.

Fun, who said anyone was allowed fun?

You will not succeed to spoiling peoples enjoyment, I know you "support our team and genuinely want us to achieve things" but if stopping someone who you used to call a friend playing football with his other friends then thats just childish.
Woody
I'm not stopping anybody. I was merly pointing out that you are not the 'True Chester fans team' that you paint yourselves out to be.

I have no problem with Toaster playing for DCFC. It's up to the management of the team who they wish to play for them, just don't go round trying to claim the higher ground when you are just as guilty of fielding non-Chester fan yourselves.

I posted two messages about Toaster being a non-Chester fan (once on DC and once on the Northwich forum) as I wanted to point out how AFC Chester are not the only supporters team to have a somewhat 'open policy' on player recruitment.

It's not meant as a slight on Toaster who I actually like as a person and respect. If my comments have offended Toaster then I apologise, that was never my intention. I got a lot of stick and continue to do so by certain people and was merely expressing how they may have been wrong to criticise me for doing what the DCFC management are doing right now.

The title is 'Its Over' so I agree sadly Toaster has decided to withdraw from our squad in which he qualified by being a regular Deva Chat poster. I wish him all the best away from us.

Cheers for your efforts in the past 16 weeks Andy!

Actually Toaster, if u read what i say, I am trying to get some clarification for u. Phil has stated that Chester fans will play before other regardless of ability, and u being a Wr**h*m fan means u will never get a game for this chester supporters side. If it was on ability we both know u would play left back every week for DCFC mate.

Correct we are all for having fun and playing football, Chester fans are the number one in this team but we welcomed anyone from devachat joining in from the outset on the proviso that they knew where they stood in relation to the Chester fans within the squad, if they werent happy with our rules they had the choice to not attend training and become involved in our setup, in this example Andy was keen to train and have fun and he knew that come match days he would be overlooked by myself and Mark if we had XI City fans ready to play, I know this situation must of been hard for him and fair play to him for still coming training having FUN .

At the end of the day Toaster has now decided that he should leave the squad, which mean he will no longer be training with us, this saddens me as I class him as a very good friend as well as a squad player, but it is his decision and we have to respect that.

So as far I am aware everyone else in our squad list in a fully fledged Chester City fan. citysign.GIF

I hope this helps.

there is one supporters team, Devachat FC, made up wholly of Chester City Supporters.

There is a team called AFC chester. made up of a meglomaniac manager and represented by some very good players let it be said but who gave up the idea of being a chester city supporter's side in favour of chasing glory by any means, which followign the cup win, they achieved. However st werburgh's (whom AFC practically is) also won the league and are a good side, but it takes away all the gloss of AFC's victory as it was achieved as a team from chester, not chester city supporters.

If there were to be a DCFC friendly with Artificial FC, i would be happy to accept it if they won, because they have some good players, carl fowlie being excellent this year in the league, and lads i got on well with. I chose DCFC because i liked the idea of playing with City fans and where chester fans take precedent over better non-supporters, because we ARE a supporters team.

On the other hand, if we played a friendly and DCFC won, i think woody would probably have a stroke.

That would be Carl Fowlie the Chester City North Stand season ticket holder you refer too then yeah?

Keep it going boys.....you make me laugh.
Eyeballpaul
so which team is actually a supporters team comprised of chester fans and nothing else?
because i dont think us mtfc fans would want to play a team that isn't chester fans?
phill
That'd be us now Paul, following last night.

I'm working on the game as we speak!
Eyeballpaul
