Whatever next?
Why do people get all excited about Chester being mentioned on TV?
Before we know it, we'll have people posting topics like:
"OMG I SAW CHESTER ON THE WEATHER AFTER THE NEWS, IT SAID ON THE SCREEN!!"

I found rather funny that it said in a local E port newspaper that the mayor got upset by some of the insulting comments about the port. The mayor said 'i'd like to take Ricky up on his comments. The port can hold its head up high. And the local girls are fantastic. This town is on the up with more improvements, renovations and buildings than i've seen in my life. It's not on deriding us like this.'
Some people just can't take a joke. Most of the stuff he said was true anyway.

Theres also a fat right back who is the club sponsors son. He was asking if the game was 90 minutes again this week.
Also, the super intelligent player who always got the mick taken out of him for being intelligent (Andy Harris was a mensa member).
I am wondering which ground they use to film some of the basics though?

Firstly, it is old news. Secondly it is
MIKE BASSETT: MANAGER, not Dave Bassett: England Manager, and thirdly what exactly makes Ellesmere Port girls fantastic according to the town's mayor? Is it the three-hundred and fourty eight thousand layers of make-up or the Fred Perry trackies?

For one moment then i thought they had sacked Ericsson and replace with the cheeky cockney Dave.

saw ricky thomlison at the gateway on Sunday evening and his opening remarks were "Chester City my a***" He also mentioned that there would be alot of references to CCFC in the next episode - on tonight. I thought it was a very funny programme - similar to the film. definitely worth watching.

I might be wrong but it looked like Crewe Alexandra from what I could make out watching last week's episode.

Come on HC, bit harsh. It's the first episode and they have to get people talking about it. Anybody who has seen the film (most footy fans) would know what to expect. I agree with you it is slightly childish but it is in a similar vein to 'The Office' where you cringe alot! Intelligent people see through this and appreciate the football related under tones! Next episode tonight at 12.00pm on ITV1, whoi knows I may agree with you after watching episode 2! But I think I'll give it a chance. After working hartd all day and making decisions for other people it's quite good to have a bit of banal humour to chill out too!

Wouldn't be the first time! I suppose it could be worse - Jordan and Peter do the washing up together, go shopping, have a very pink wedding kind of documentary/fly on the wall! At least Cell Block H had some real people in it!

Nothing intended by the comment. Was not implying that you are intelligent or not, sorry to offend you. Just that normal prople would appreciate it even though it is not likely to find it itself on MENSA'a watch list! (Must ask Andy Harris what he thought of it!)

How do you know I do that to my PC? Not that I do of course, but are you perving on me or something? That's sick! As for the football reference - you're getting a bit cocky aren't you? What was it that Jepson said? His baby grandchild has more mobility than you? As for your little signature, weren't you captain for one game due to the absence of the team's regular captain? Hez is captain now. Did Woody not mention it to you? You're living off one pathetic past "glory" mate. Move on with your life, take your missus to KFC for a treat.
