The City Fans United AGM is fast approaching, and the AGM packs have been sent out via email to those who have email addresses listed on their membership profiles.

Those members that don’t have valid email addresses listed on their profile, will have been sent these via post today.

Any members who haven’t received their packs by early next week should contact CFU secretary Marion Needham via the email address marion.needham@chesterfc.com

Due to the damage sustained at the Swansway Chester Stadium, the previously planned formal meeting will now not take place, and as such the next meeting will be the AGM and will take place in the Blues Bar on Thursday 27th September, commencing at 7.30pm.

Anyone considering voting for Paul Evans should be made aware of the sort of material he's been sharing and posting on social media, and whether it is appropriate for someone who wants to be a director of a community club.

There's a thread about it here.

Having read the thread we should all be concerned. Surely the board should apply a bit of common sense to prevent any future problems.

If we’re to remain a democratic organisation, he is entitled to stand for election and the existing board would be out of line to talk him down at this stage.

It’s down to CFU members to decide whether this is the sort of character they want on the board, and to make themselves (and others) informed on who they might be voting for.
