Odd there isn't a single player from Macclesfield, Tranmere or Wrexham, given how many English players those 3 have on their books unsure.gif


Congratulations to Chester Academy Graduate James Jones – who has been called up to the England C squad.


England C boss Paul Fairclough has announced his 16-man squad to take on Wales C at Barry Town later this month.

Non-League’s Three Lions will cross the border for the match against the League of Wales’ newly-formed representative team.

The game takes place on Tuesday, March 20 with a 7.30pm kick-off.

England C squad:

Goalkeepers:
James Montgomery (Gateshead)
Grant Smith (Boreham Wood)

Defenders:
Louis John (Sutton United)
Daniel Jones (Barrow)
James Jones (Chester)
Sam Ling (Leyton Orient)

They have plenty, but too old. England C is an under 23 side.
