The Chester FC Fundraising Work Group are planning to host a Question of Sport event during the months of March and April.

It is hoped that we will have participation from teams representing;

Chester FC First Team
Chester FC Board
Chester FC Youth Academy
Chester FC Women’s
Chester FC Community Trust
Chester FC Junior Blues
Chester FC Senior Blues
Chester FC Inclusive Blues
Chester FC Volunteers
Chester Exiles
City Fans United

Invitations have been issued to a representative of each of the above groups.

We now invite both Devachat 1 and Devachat 2 to enter a team each.

We plan to run 4 qualifying rounds across Chester in local pubs. The winners of each qualify round will go forward to a Final Round which will be held in the Blues Bar.

Each Team should consist of 4 people. A charge per team of £40 will be made to enter. Qualifying rounds will be free of charge for spectators but we will ask the Pubs to make a contribution to our fundraising. The Final will have a nominal entry charge … each round will be hosted on a Thursday Evening.

If you are interested in participating can you please formulate your team members between yourselves, appoint a captain and confirm participation to fundraising@chesterfc.com by Tuesday 13th February.

We hope that you can join us

A suggestion to help take the number of teams to 16.... Knockout setup would be easier.

Ask 2 of our main sponsors if they would like to field teams.
Good opportunity for sponsor engagement.

Perhaps have a sponsor award a cup to the winning team and start this as an annual event.

As we're nearly in June I'm assuming this has been shelved.

Going by the amount of work they have got on after sitting in with their Group meeting last week, I think it's more down to a case of needing more manpower behind them to get all this work across the line.
