It will almost certainly be better than watching the first team at a fraction of the cost . The youth team ALWAYS give 100%

Wiki usually cover the FA Youth Cup right from the extra preliminary round, but don't seem to have done so yet. You can follow
it much better there than on the FA Official site, which is poor. I notice that Broxbourne Borough (who defeated us last season)
have not appeared yet. Perhaps they have a bye until third round or have folded. Pity the young Blues have yet another away tie,
although it is very winnable. Also pity it's so far away.

They were knocked out in the 2nd qual round. For some reason they appear as FC Broxbourne Borough on the FA's site.

Strange set up there.

When we played them last season their senior team were averaging a crowd of 35, but the FA Youth cup tie had a crowd of around 1,000.

Disappointed about that. I fully expected the young Blues to progress.

I suppose the parachute payments extend to the academies as well.
