Don't mind a trip to kiddy, good food, proper ground, good away end under cover, good club, good beer , game likely to be on, what more can you ask for ?

A home draw? Seriously though, could have been a lot worse . . . don't envy Hartlepool having to go to South Shields for example.

Have we had a home draw (as opposed to replays) in FA Cup since we reformed?

The Weavers Arms micro pub is one of 12 finalists for the CAMRA pub of the year. Kiddie is always a good day out, and I was sorry to see them relegated. guiness.gif

Yep, Gateshead one year (we lost) and Halifax the year before that (think Halifax was in our first year we were allowed to enter it as a reformed club).

I think the home game was the one where they were foolishly given the whole of the West stand, and a few of the Halifax fans tried to enter the Harry Mac over the wall.

Kidderminster vs Chester

To me, after checking up on Kidderminster's position and form in the National League North, is not an easy assignment in my view. If we could scrape a draw and then win the replay at home then that would be marvelous. A 1 - 1 draw forecast.

Had a very good season last year in the league but lost a couple of key players in the summer. Were expected to challenge for promotion this season but so far their league form has been disappointing. Will no doubt fancy their chances though.

Good luck to the Chester supporters who travelled down early this morning to play their Kidderminster counterparts. After that they're planning to watch the Liverpool v Man Utd game on telly somewhere before the main event cityscarf.gif

ps. have converted Jumpy's original post into todays match thread.

So a vitally important game away at Kidderminster today in the cup. It’s essential that we put out a strong team who can really give it a good go this season and get us through a few rounds. I’m really looking forward to a good day out at a nice stadium with proper pies. Hopefully a healthy following can go home happy. Up The Seals!
Score: Kidderminster Harriers 1-3 Chester FC (Bell, Shaw, Hannah)
Attendance, 1,734 (750 Chester)
COYB!
