Good morning,

BluesLive will be with you this afternoon bringing you full match commentary.

Myself (Phil Turner) and Matty Johnson will be the men behind the mic's today.

Join us from 14:30 where we'll discuss the Blues half term report of John McCarthy's first full season as a manager. We will also discuss the Blues last few results against Guiseley & Witton Albion.

Tweet us @BluesLive_CFC during the game and we'll interact with you live on air.

From all off the commentators and volunteers of BluesLive, I'd like to wish all our listeners a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Phil

2-0 Chester today, fancy us to win. I see our Assitant Manager is not there today as he is on his way to Channel 5 to appear on the highlights show this evening.

this is the problem an assistant manager with outside interests i know we knew this when we appointed him but seems crazy for him not to be on the touchline on a match day

I have no problem with it personally, providing he does his job on the training pitch, JM can shout on the touch line.

Another great Alabi flick and Chappell chases it down and scores, great link up between them two.

Really was a great bit of work from Chappell.

If Man City sign Chappell for 25 million quid I think we should all get a dividend.

He was MOM against Witton Albion according to BluesLive team today. TBH I think on his day he can really have a positive impact on a game (definitely did at Boreham Wood away when he came on as sub). Every match I have seen him this season he has played well.

He's getting better every month. Very pleased for the lad, especially after all the stick he's taken from morons in the crowd.

Chat between the BluesLive commentators today said the same adding it is probably no coincidence that it coincides with the arrival of Iwelumo (and his coaching). This could be a very astute move by Macca as could prove a very lucrative investment for the club. cityscarf.gif
