Met a Welsh Chester fan today, he said he has always wanted to take a Welsh flag with Chester FC written on it to the ground for a match.

I said good luck.

Why?

No trouble in Bordeux today just a bunch of underdogs getting a historic win.

I certainly wouldn't have a problem with it though I think I'm in the minority.

A Welsh flag with Chester FC written on it to a Chester home game.

We have lots of Welsh supporters and I can't think why any reasonable person would object

?

Wind up attempt......fail.

99% don't care if you love sheep - as long as you are a Chester sheep lover and not a Wrexham sheep lover.

We will still sing the songs - but to think we are anti Welsh is off the mark.

As a Penymynydd resident now, I have to say I didn't see the Wales game,(But good luck to them) but watched the England game which ended as England tournament opening games usually do.
I am not the least passionate about my home country anymore unfortunately, the money and Premiershi** have long since taken away that, the only team I get passionate about these days is Chester who I have stuck loyally with for 55 years.

You're just a WUM and probably a Wrexham supporter given the tone of your posts having a swipe at the club/fans at any given opportunity.

Nobody has a problem with Welsh Chester supporters, now jog on.

As you would guess from my name I have Welsh heritage (dad and all his side are 100% Welsh and some on my mum's side). My dad 1st took me to Chester games and he happily sung the anti-Wrexham songs, like myself he fully appreciated that any anti-Welsh chanting was always aimed at Wrexham, not to the Welsh as a whole.

IMO we should do more to reach out to our welsh fans. Flintshire in particular has always had a affinity with the Blues, of Course Rush comes immediately to mind but theres plenty more. We are the most local team for Flintshire and whilst there's plenty from the quay or as far over as Holywell who attend games you dont hear much from the club targeting or tapping that potential.

So many replies to one rubbish WUM.

Most Chester fans I know have Welsh family. I can't stand Wrexham AFC but have friends who live there, and family all over Pembrokeshire. I also have lots of Chester friends from North Wales.

I believe Mancot Blue was once going to get a Cpd Caer flag done?

Stop trying to stir the hate, focus on the love.
