A mate and I will be in Chester on Monday 13th June, and we plan to watch all three games at the Euros that day, kicking off at 2pm, 5pm and 8pm (all on terrestrial TV).

Two questions for those that run the Blues Bar, please:

- are you open and showing the matches on the TV's?
- if so, will you be serving the excellent Spitting Feathers beers, or just the Tetleys?

Thanks in advance for the info.

Even if they didn't plan to I think this would be a great idea.

Get some people down, drink beer, have fun and the club makes a bit of profit - no brainer?

Can't see there being much demand to watch 3 games on a Monday, but think it would be a good idea to open the bar on Saturday 11th with Wales kicking off at 5pm and England at 8pm.

I'm off on Tuesday and hoping to pop down to the ground to renew my season ticket. It would be nice if Andy could open the Blues Bar so I could grab some refreshments and maybe catch a bit of Homes Under The Hammer on the big screen.

For Euro 2012 we played Sweden on a Friday night and I remember watching it in the Blues Bar.

It was well advertised and they put free sausage butties on, there must have been 60+ in there drinking for a few hours which has got to be worthwhile.

The weekend matches might be a goer. The midweek ones could present staffing problems. I am sure that the bar staff have other jobs to go to during the week.
The priority would be their main job first. Maybe the weekend would be different?

That sounds a good pay day for the club . . . of course, they would have to promote it too.

I see the Wales v England match is 14:00 on a Thursday, going to be a headache for a lot of employers and employees.
