Actually I wouldn't mind a trip to Peterborough, provided it was a Saturday match. Good memories from my only ever match there when Ryan Lowe et al won there.

You do appreciate that that would be a rubbish draw tho?

A home draw would be fantastic - Warrington preferably. If not Tranmere, Crewe/Sheff U or Oldham who I've never seen us play against.

Ideally anyone below us at home for me. Hopefully giving us a better chance of getting into the hat for the 3rd round.

Ideally a home draw against one of the weaker teams, but I'm suggesting alternatives. Would be very disappointed if we drew Wrexham away as some have suggested.

Agree - it's all about getting into the third round now. Two tough away draws so far - we are due a home one. Slightly nervous about wishing for a lower ranked team as it's bound to end in tears! Tranmere at home will do me. They must be down at the bottom of Lg 2 for a reason.

How do they do the draw to decide the numbers to be used in the draw. Maybe they should
televise that as well biggrin.gif

Looking at the 40 clubs left in, there's a lot of tough draws we could get. Round 1 wasn't very kind with Southend away, here's hoping we get a better one in round 2 guiness.gif

Real mixed bag of results by Conference teams against league opposition. Braintree got turned over and I expected Bristol Rovers, FGR and Grimsby to do better.

I think and i might be wrong that it is the number of the tie you are involved in,
So for instance if we were first or second out of the hat for tonights draw we would be tie number one.
Given the 20 premier league teams and the 24 championship teams coming into the next round we would be ball no 45.
If we did the same into the fourth round (tie no 1) we would be ball no 1 and so on....
I think... biggrin.gif

Me too, as my lad will be 'on stage' at New Brighton Theatre tonight.

Have to say that is brilliant from Steve Burr to firstly agree to come to the production, but carry it through in the circumstances - that's true community commitment - what a great bloke bowdown.gif

Yes, came across an Upton Heath Tweet last week confirming SB would attend their production.
Well don SB and CCFC and good luck to my (very) old school tonight.

Rover's may be concentrating on getting out of this league and didn't want a cup run.

Was happy for a Yorkshire game until I realised it will probably be played on the 6th of December when I am due to be at Winter Rocks festival in Sheffield. Praying for it to be moved to the sunday now.
