Paul sadly passed away earlier today following an illness. As some of you will know, Paul set up and run the club shop at Deva following the reformation of the club, very often doing late nights and mail order til daft o'clock and earning the nickname Arkwright. Others will remember him from various away trips or from c block. Totally gutted, our thoughts are with his partner Amanda, his family and friends.

RIP Paul x

Very sad news.

I still remember the enthusiasm Paul had when we had launched CFU. The mugs & t-shirts seemed to be there instantly as soon as we'd launched, and it went on from there.

Instrumental in setting the Club Shop up at the Deva, and one of most active volunteers - always had time for everyone at Chester FC.

True Gent, True Blue. He'll be missed greatly. But his spirit will live on at the Club that's for sure.

RIP Paul.

Really sad to hear this.

Paul was a great bloke and a true blue. The work he did on setting up the club shop was amazing and nothing ever got on top of him. Don't think I ever saw him angry, always cheerful and ready to have a laugh. His enthusiasm and humour were infectious.

Thankyou Paul, it was a pleasure to know you and have the occasional pint or three.

Condolences to Amanda and the rest of the family.

RIP.

Such sad sad news.
It puts everything in perspective.
Football brings us together, it shapes lifetime friendships but the football is secondary at times like this.

RIP

How sad. RIP Paul. He was someone who always went the 'extra mile' to help the Exiles with merchandise - speedily posting items off to us, and putting other things aside especially for us. He'll be sadly missed. Condolences to his family.
