A signing is very possible over the next 24 hours deal had verbally been agreed so it's just a waiting game a striker by all accounts!

Holroyd signed for Macclesfield. Got a feeling we've missed out on him.

I've heard they've had their budget slashed alot, but they are still signing decent players.

with the loss of curran ,to full time football we see how hard it will be to get good players
so building a growing crowd and sponcers is top of the list , hope the price raise does not kill it stone dead

It's a bit of a Catch 22 though - like it or not, it is inevitable that there will be people who will not buy a season ticket until they see the club signing players. I hope NY can secure the other strikers on his hit list and the sooner the better.

What's with all the panic? surely we should a show a bit of faith in a manager who had delivered 3 successive titles and is clearly working to a budget. What do people want? Youngy to sign players for the sake of it? we have nearly 2 months before the season starts, Have faith please.

The above post contains far too much common sense.

Absolutely! We have the best manager in the Non-league arena. He has often referred to the business acumen he as acquired from his work experience outside of football and he is using that now in his pursuit of the players he has identified as part of his plans for next season. We have been here before and NY has come up trumps each time. Of course his task is even more difficult now that we are not the biggest fish in the pool but we still have a great set-up and are stable financially unlike many clubs gambling the ranch on promotion backed by unsustainable borrowings and so called benefactors.

Give NY time and I'm confident our squad will match any in the League.

Ryan Lowe's contract has been terminated at MK Dons due to "personal reasons". I'm guessing he wants to be closer to home. Come on Ryan, you know it makes sense!! Hope NY is working his magic on this one!

Can anyone elaborate on why we have not gone back in for the Turner Twins, .......have Leeds refused, or have we simply not bothered or if so did they reject us? seems to be a no brainer to me, just seen Doncaster Rovers snatch one of Man City youngsters, could we do something similar or are we a too smaller club to attract premiership scholars, may be a link up with Everton and Martinez?

It's too late to do anything about Baynes and Collins, but the way things are going, I think NY could do worse than reconsider his decision to let Marc go.

The problem is that we let loads go and tbh im not sure that what we have signed is any better than what we let go

How do you know? We haven't seen any of them play. We get these comments every season and then go and win the league (not saying that will happen this season). The only one who is in a position to judge at this moment is NY.

because most of them are from leagues lower than the bsp one of them is from evostick league one north and one from vauxhall most players we will be playing against are bsp or l2 standard . As for this whole" in ny we trust" thing i eait with intetest now we are at bsp standatd
