That discount offer for ST holders on £30+ spends should help us shift a few more shirts then!

What a great idea! That should add a significant amount to the gate.

I agree with you . A £5 discount on a cup game would be the sensible thing to do.

The £7 offer is a great idea taking into account we have two games the following weekend. I agree about the voucher for ST holders doesnt really have any benefit to me at all whereas my mates who couldnt afford/couldnt be arsed to get a season ticket feel the full benefit (albeit its only a fiver).

Can't understand that attitude. If you've got a season ticket, you've already paid and saved money anyway. What skin of your nose is it if people are paying less at the turnstile?

Haven't bought a season ticket this season, but if I had, I would be pleased that the club are trying to get more people through the gates.

Could you point out to me where I have said it was "skin off my nose". If you read my post I acutally said it was a good idea. The thing that isnt a good idea is offering £5 off to ST holders but only if they spend £30.

Can't understand the rationale that season ticket holders get the same benefit as those who pay on the gate for this match, they get a voucher for £5 but have to spend £30 in the shop to get any benefit, I hoped that when we reinvented ourselves we would get things right but this seems an own goal to me as it does to many other season ticket holders sitting in the East stand today. Come on Chester FC have a re think and make sure season ticket holders who are the core of your fan base really do get some beneift. angry.gif

Its fair to question this Marion. Maybe an alternative could be given for season ticket holders? - Would suggest contacting the Club directly though to give them the chance to respond.

Why start another thread when there is already one on this. As I said on the other thread, the fairest solution is to give ST holders a £5 discount at a cup game.(assuming we have a home tie).

Yes we do but the club also gets our money up front, those paying on the gate are getting in at half price
