Fall from grace for Jody Banim. He was the next big thing at Slop.

Jan Budtz is the ex-Donny keeper.

Personally thought Rule was OK when played at centre half

I don't think ellams was actually that good, think some people think he's better than he is because he was born in Chester!

let's be honest though, he's hardly likely to play like Bobby Moore when you have Linwood and that joke James Vaughan next to you! Plus not getting paid is hardly an inspiration.

You have to wonder how many of the young players we had at the club during the last couple of years of CCFC could have played at a far higher level later in their careers than they ever will now thanks to having their careers damaged by Vaughan & co

I imagine Curle isnt doing too badly for himself at QPR although i suppose it depends what he would rather be doing, managing a lower league club or coaching at a soon to be premier league one.

Meynell and Kay also seem to be at Stalybridge.

The fact that so few of last season's squad are still plying their trade in the Blue Square Premier speaks volumes.

I am certain that the side we have this season would have beaten the sides we had out in 2009-10 and 2008-09.

Be realistic 08-09 really? Lowe, Ellison, Wilson, Mozika. Top league 2 players. Whereas we have just lost to Radcliffe Boro. I think your a little blinded by the fact that we win so much.

I though Meynell was playing in Irish Premier? I have to agree with you on the BSP, last season's team was woefully inadequate.

I've always believed that team that got relegated from League 2 could have been a decent side under the right ownership.

To be fair to the young team we had last season, I think it's to their credit that they never got seriously hammered in any games, on the scale of Weymouth's 9-0 home defeat the season before for example. I don't think there was anything worse than a 4-0
