Just a quick note to all who are going, make us proud and support the blues. Most importantly, enjoy the game and the occasion.

Unfortunately, work committments mean that I will miss our first game as CFC but will be thinking about it come 3.00pm! cityscarf.gif

Hope you all have a great time today. Don't be too disappointed if you don't win - throwing a team together in just a few weeks isn't an easy task and it may take a while for the players to 'bed down'. But I'm sure it will be a bit emotional to see your boys run out again - and to know that this time they really are doing it for you.

Dilemma !I run an under8 side that's due to play Hawerdon tournament today.we have every possibility of making the final but that would mean I'll miss CFCs historic day

I'm a coach of Upton U9's and I'm missing that Tournement today for Chesters first game, luckily there's the manager and another coach going!

I think a thread about our first game should be recorded and printed and put somewhere in the deva stadium that everyone can read. And I think this should be done to signalfy the role devachat played in our revival.

I have mixed feelings about today. I woke up really excited that 'today's the day', but gutted that I can't make it to Colwyn Bay.

I don't care too much about the result, we've already had a major result getting rid of you-know-who and building a new club from scratch. The fact that 11 players will run onto the pitch this afternoon as a true CHESTER team is a victory in itself.

Have a great day out everyone!

It's wet and windy in Colwyn Bay too, although not too cold yet. Perfect weather for watching the footy.
