It only takes 5 games like this for us, and 5 good games for the other teams over the course of an entire year for it not to matter.

You have a good manager in Little and you have signed players who may not be spectacular but who will do the job! Not every game will be as easy as this one but you will be there or there abouts at the end of the season! If only we had in insight to appoint a manager with some experience!!

just got in from chester zoo, had a good day, and then herd the result when i got in, didn't belive it. Very disappointed in hearing the score, but did we really look like winning after our pre-season games!?!? I don think so.
the team looked more than capable of winning IMO. even with a weakish deffence, the attacking options were far from short.

however this is our first game and we shouldn't be too hastey to start the negitive chants, it aint going to help. on the brightside were not in administration and not bottom (yet) Think ill reserve my judgement for a few more games.

Warning..message maybe jaded by immense anger at loosing to one of the s**test sides in the division by 6 goals!!

Perhaps all those goals that went past us today were lucky, perhaps a few were offside, perhaps some key decisions went the daggers way...hmmmm I dont think so, who will be first to admit blame for this EMBARRASSING defeat by one of the worst teams in the league last year?? The Players? the Manager? I honestly don't believe we got beat 6-0! Hang on i will just check the bbc web site to be sure.....6-0!!

I don't think that shouting for the managers head this early is a good idea and the whole Vaughan out thing can be saved for Christmas depending on our situation but my big 10 game clock (yes that says clock) is ticking Mr Davies. It might all change next week, maybe a good whooping was what we needed to get us into gear, point out the faults, identify weaknesses??

If survival is our mission this year, which i believe to be an abysmal target for any team which should be looking at mid table then something obviously must be done about the defence, the transfer deadline is August 31st but who can we sign, wage budget has crippled us and I don't know who we would release, can we afford to release anyone? Surely a minimal points score this season would see us survive, maybe 40, but loosing just like winning, is a habit (Derby). If we get complacent and think that Rotherham and Bournmouth wont achieve what is now 15 more points quicker than we will on the evidence of today then we are sadly mistaken. A small side point; the odds on Luton winning league 2 are less than Villa winning the premiership.

Hopefully this is all just an over reaction to a bad days work and come next Saturday it will all be forgotten, and there was me thinking we had a good enough team to have a boring season

*Rant Over*

Im glad to see Davies learnt so so so much when he went for that stupid scouting mission last week when he should have been at Telford playing his strongest starting XI. What a clown.

Everyone could see that this defense what a joke and yet hardly seemed to do anything serious about it during the whole pre-season.

We're going down lads with this glorified youth coach in charge.

It always amazes me why with just 1 week left any Manager would not wish to see his starting 11 in a competitive friendly.....Instead SD goes down to watch Daggers 3-0 thumping of Bromsgrove with guesss what "Their starting 11" then tells us all this week how good they were....SD you must learn quick lad or start gearing yourself for Youth football again.....
