it may only include 1 ccfc player as otherwise this will just turn into a CCFC player remembrance thread.

1) - Daryl Clare - Just a top striker who was loved and was the main man in our promotion (ie the highlight of watching ccfc)
2) - Robbie Fowler - Growing up, he was my idol
3) Niall Quinn - Such a random one, dont even like sunderland but he always played the game in the right way and was a proper centre forward, always admired him

So as you can see i love goalscorers

anyone?

Chris McKenzie/Ben Davies/Stuart Drummond/Derek Assamoah/Richard Hope...which one do you want me to claim as the ex Chester player? rolleyes.gif ...only messing around !!

Seiously I'll give you for current L2 players 1/ Wayne Brown (still a good keeper and a very honest man)
2/ Adam Proudlock ( a son of Shropshire)
3/ Tommy Mooney

I would just like to add my weight (and there's a fair bit of it) to your number 3 choice. I used to live in Watford and watched them regularly when Tommy Mooney was around. I can honestly say that he's the best pro I've seen in terms of commitment and drive. I gather he's a pretty decent bloke too. I'd have him at Chester tomorrow and make him captain. bowdown.gif

biggrin.gif Its ok I'm not a goalkeeper, I meant whilst having a kick around can never connect to it. I'd never try that in a match!
