One of the few games I managed to see last year. They snuffed us out pretty easily and I'm fearing the same again.

Another one of the league's high flyers, with big ambitions who'll bring very little away support

From what I remember they were a bunch of spoilers and kickers. Continuously wasting time and it was like "Land of the Giants". Their sub won the game for them with his first touch within 30 seconds of coming on. Therefore what do we expect, well more of the same I suspect and cannot say we are in for the "beautiful game". I stand to be corrected.

Will be a strong physical team, if we get at them early can unsettle them, happened against them last Saturday.

Matty Hughes took them all on before getting sent off at Eastleigh last season was so funny to watch. Then at the home game he had a set to with the keeper lol.

not unbeatable, put will probably be one of the best teams (on paper anyway) to come here this season...we haven't won in four so a favorable result would be a big boost, and one that might interest a few more supporters..if we play like we did against Grimsby and cut out a few silly mistakes we might just pull it off...oh..and no inconsistencies please.(Rooney) glare.gif

Like to see Sam Hughes start ahead of Rooney or Shaw the lad deserves a crack at 90mins

Agreed, but unlikely for Rooney that's for sure as he seems to be the first on the team sheet. Maybe with someone breathing down his neck might up the ante. He owes the fans a performance me thinks.

Yet another team with a big playing budget, so it won't be easy, but the same spirit as on Tuesday could just pull off a win.
Hobbo and Thommo must start though!

Is there a match tomorrow? unsure.gif Who would have thought it?
Why not 1-1 again with 1950. Feels like we've already drawn more games than
in the whole of last season.

All the doom and gloom on here lately I didn't realise that big-spending Eastleigh are just three points ahead of us!

Also, their lasts three results:

D - Altrincham (a) 1-1
L- Gateshead (h) 1-2
L - Barrow (a) 1-0

They are a good side and undoubtedly spent a fair bit, but so have Grimsby. I'm going for another 1-1 home draw, att 2050

Don't think I could take watching Rooney three times in a week. He's a liability and a waste of space. Surely Burr can con someone like Airbus to take him off our hands. Sam Hughes has shown more in an hour than Spooney has all season.

Strange one with Eastleigh. They seem to get good crowds at home. Looking at their season ticket prices (which were very favourable) I am not surprised and they have loads of free admission games. As for their following at the Swansway last season well it was non existent and their fans were the most obnoxious according to one of the head stewards at the club.

I will go for 2000 at best. If we had a chance of selling out of the Wrexham tickets we could have issued vouchers tomorrow to get additional support, but it's unlikely and there will still be tickets no doubt up to the day before the Wrexham game with the policy of 2 per person only. Surely it makes sense to sell as many as people want to get them sold. I am sure the demand is not there?

I'm not a massive Rooney fan but get fed up with the constant knocking. Must be down to the name, no one else gets so much unjustified critisism in our team. He's not Wayne in the Premier League on £250k a week, just his young brother in the Conference on a mere fraction of that.

Can we move away from the name game. The majority of us couldn't care less whether he was smith, jones or Patel. We judge him on how we think he plays. I don't think he's playing that bad but his performances are looking worse due to him taking all the set play and making a cats a**e of most of it.
