Fantastic news for the supporters. Lets give James the support from the stands and terrace he needs at this very sad time.

Great attitude from James. Would be brilliant if he could mark the day with a goal and a win.

Wow, what superb news this is! Adds quality at both ends, really terrific to have them both back.

Can't speak highly enough of this young man, Roberts. At what must be an incredibly tough time for him and his family, he's chosen to come back up here and try and get on with things/honour his commitment, when nobody would blame him for wanting to be nearer to home. Fair play to him, I know we will all be behind him on Saturday should he feature.

A really brave and impressive decision by James. I'm pretty sure there will be some emotional scenes both on and off the pitch if he scores tomorrow.

Agreed RB - must still be an emotional time for the young lad. I am sure he'll get a great reception and hope he gets a goal..or 2.

'Nineteen-year-old Roberts was handed compassionate leave and it was unclear whether he would feature again for the Blues, however he spoke to manager Steve Burr this week and confirmed he wanted to return'.

Great idea but it may have one of two effects on the lad either inspire him or distract his thoughts from the match itself, maybe he's best left alone to get on with the game which will most probably be a welcome relief from the past few weeks traumas

Totally agree with that, the best thing for the lad is to let him concentrate on playing football, it may help give him a brief distraction from the constant grief and misery he's probably enduring at the moment. Maybe make him MOM even if he's only on the pitch for a few minutes or just on the bench, as a recognition of his courage and the fans respect?

Do we know the extent of his injury yesterday ? It looked like a hamstring and that could well finish his loan spell with us and on the other hand if he is fit will Oxford allow him to play in the cup at Alty ?

Very emotional moment when James scored yesterday. So pleased for him and what a huge difference he makes too us up front. So gutted to see him limp off. Let's hope it is not as serious as it sounds and he is back again. I think he has real talent and has already taken to the hearts of Chester fans as Oli McB did last season.
Fingers xd!
