Hardly a surprise this one, it looked nailed on once they went down. Stockport will be a big club at that level. It's only natural they will want the best, proven players. We may see him at the Deva again if Stockport come up...

Not many players will leave ourselves and go to club who get bigger support than us, fair play to Iain as the move has worked out well for him, more local to home, decent level of football where he has played before and a club where the potential to go up the leagues.

I've no real feelings for Stockport and feel that they've been the architect of their own downfall. It's not that long ago that I went to Wembley to see them win promotion to League 1. However I will follow them next season because I expect Iain Howard (if selected) to be a regular on their scoresheet. Good luck Iain!
