With both games called off over the Christmas period we have only 2 home games in January. Sailsbury on a Tuesday night, so possibly our lowest gate to date. Then home to Grays on the 30th. Not a lot of income generated with those 2 glamour ties i think we will all agree.
I just wonder what the players must be thinking about how they will be getting paid during this time. My personnal opinion is this is the month that could spell the end to OUR club. I am amazed none of the players have signed for someone else yet today.

GOOD LUCK BACK THERE GUYS!!!! citysign.GIF

How bad can the pitch be? No freeze here, about a mile from the ground, and higher up?

Same here and I'm about the same distance away from the ground as you, was completely white over this morning though up till nearly midday.

Despite you being on an obvious wind up, John Danby does a job and deserves to be paid for it. He has also been a professional footballer for a longer time than Glenn Rule, Lloyd Ellams, James Owen, Shaun Kelly et al who have to rely on handouts to survive.

How is this week going to be any different to the last few months, with regards non-payment of wages? Even with the games that have played, the gate receipts haven't gone anywhere near the players' bank accounts anyway.

As for John Danby, Cruise must pay him a pretty hefty commission for the amount of time he spends in there.

Maybe his telly has been repossessed, and that's the only way he can keep up with the goings on in Coronation Street. biggrin.gif
