Not long to wait now. Usually we get a demo a month or so before as well.

Football Manager 2011 Release Date Announced

We are delighted to be able to confirm the UK release dates for both Football Manager 2011 and Football Manager Handheld 2011 of November 5th 2010.

We expect release dates in all other territories to be similar, and there will be a thread on the forums where any territory release dates that will be different will be able to be found once they are confirmed.

Will scour the net for a crack, as I did for 2010.

I am wealthy due to my thrift.

We're fast approaching the tenth anniversary of the last good Championship/Football Manager game ever made. Would be nice if they re-issued CM01/02 with updated data for the 11/12 season.

Why dont you try the latest football manager game, its much better then just a 'good' football manager game.

It's been over-engineered for years, starting with Championship Manager 4. For me, they started chasing a different market at the expense of the gameplay I used to enjoy. Unless they've stripped nearly all of the superfluous additions of the past decade out of the game in this latest version, I'm still out. smile.gif

Ever since they started making all these additions you dislike they have had the option to switch them off and play it like the old games

So it's the additional realism you dislike?

So it's the additional realism you dislike?

I dislike the older games for 2 reasons. Firstly the old champ managers are FAR too easy, I remember signing the likes of Jay Jay Okocha, Graeme Le Saux, Warren Barton etc etc in division 3. Secondly the older games are far too unrealistic, like you said. Cant remember which version of the game it was, but you could sell Matt Woods, Iain Jenkins, Darren Moss and Matt Doughty for like £1million each.

Cant wait for FM11, the FM series is by far the hardest series of football management games out there. I've only had massive success on FM10.

Have they got any other jobs going there?

I may get this game if i get enough money to get a new computer with requirements to meet the game.

The recomended specs are exactly the same as FM2010.

Has anyone played the demo yet? I won't be able to download it until i get home tomorrow.

I dont think so unless somebody leaves. The interview i went to was a group one for about 20 people and they hired about 8 of us.

HMV in town are hiring i believe.

Starting playing the demo about an hour ago. It is similar to FM 10 but it just feels nicer and better and the added features (particularly live contract negotiations) give the game that extra something.
