After yet another loss today I can officially confirm that Bignot's win % of games is now worse than McCarthys and that takes some doing.

Bignot (who should never have got the job in the first place) must be sacked immediately if we are to have any chance of staying up.

He is the worst Manager we have ever had.

If he was a real man and saw the financial situation the club was in he would walk away without a pay off.

He's given up. I don't think he wants to be here, not up for the fight.

Bignot has not been up for a real fight since day one. He is not a football Manager.

I disagree - I don't think you can judge a manager on the situation he inherited

If people need to blame individuals then blame Jon McCarthy - keeping players like Davies and Chappel and the signings of players like McCombe and Halls.

With Shaw and Hall-Johnson those are two big loses to the team - removing drive and pace from the team

The manager has also lost his assistant

Who else would we have chosen for the job and who would now want to take over a club that might go bust and/or get relegated?

Do I think Bignot has made mistakes then yes absolutely but then the board have made even bigger mistakes in how they used to run the club

Players also need to look at themselves with some of their performances and attitude

So to completely blame him for the league standing is harsh in my opinion

Bignot has had months to re-adjust the squad. The squad is worse now than under Mccarthy.

Bignot is at the helm. He is responsible for what happens on the field. He is a disaster. worst Manager in our history.

Worse than Mccarthy based on win % stats.

The managerial position could take an interesting turn according to the match report in the Non-League Paper today. Even if it is too late to avoid relegation it will put bums on seats!

Another excellent article by exiled Chester fan Steve (the Card) Hill on our plight, too. Can't wait for Steve's book about his travels following Chester which is coming out in March. (No - I am not his agent!)

Bignot should never have got the job in the first place and I said so on deva-chat before the fascists banned me.

His record was crap.

He knows nothing about football.

My 12 year old daughter knows more about football than he does.

"The NLP understands that the club's hierarchy are contemplating making a change, with former Chester manager Graham Barrow the front runner."

Personally, I think the reporter is making a wild assumption.

I'd be amazed if we appointed a new manager and Barrow - given the financial situation at the club and Barrow's lack of experience of lower level football (Conference / Conference North)

He was interviewed for the job, with others, before the present manager was appointed.

I honestly think appointing a new manager now would be a waste of time and resources.

The season is a dead duck and there's no way anybody can keep us up, and if Tranmere/Wrexham go up, that's a big financial hit next season straightaway. We just need to play this season out and keep costs to a minimum.

It didn't have to be this way. The dreadful Maguire recruited Bignot. A bad decision and I said so at the time despite many fans saying it was a great appointment.

Bignot hasn't got a clue.

I think that is very wise thinking. Survival as a club is the first essential so that we can live to fight another day. But if by some freak happening and extra good fortune we were to survive then that would be two good things happening in an otherwise lack lustre lousy season instead of the vital one - our survival as a club.

To be fair, you just say everything's crap and won't work, and sadly you're normally right!

Anyway, that's the past. He's the manager now and unless we want to pay him off or find some cost-free way of relieving him from his duties, that's the way it will stay until the end of the season. It's not the most important issue at the moment.

You were banned because you are an annoying, repetitive oiyk.

Bignot is crap. We know that. Do you have to go on about it like some broken record.

It's a pity we don't hear from his 12 yo instead, she'd probably make far more sense, although I do also find it rather worrying that someone who comes across as being so nasty and unstable has any kids at all.
