From the Chester FC website...

Chester FC can this morning announce the loan signing of Andrew Firth from Liverpool.

The 21-year-old goalkeeper joins ahead of today’s trip to Maidenhead – with Alex Lynch departing the club yesterday.

Andrew, from Ripon in North Yorkshire, has been with Liverpool since the age of 11.

We’d like to place on record our thanks to Liverpool FC for allowing this loan deal to happen.

Welcome to Chester FC, Andrew!

Hopefully he can turn out to be a good replacement for Alex Lynch who left yesterday. Welcome to Chester FC Andy! 🔵⚪️🔵⚪️

I think the fact he has come from Liverpool may be a good sign

Not being funny but he has to start. When he has played for the liverpool youth teams he was been fairly decent. More than good enough for this league.

Good to see a premier league club helping us, Shame a few more couldn’t!
