With the FA Cup 3rd Qualifying Round taking place this Saturday, the draw for the
4th Qualifying Round (one step from the 1st Round proper) will take place live
on Colin Murray's TalkSport show at 10am on Monday.

Other than all the Conference teams that enter at this stage, the following are
still in the competition and could provide an interesting tie; AFC Flyde, Chorley,
Colwyn Bay, Warrington Town, North Ferriby, Runcorn Town and Stockport County.

Quite fancy an away day at Ilkeston, Grantham or Alfreton to be honest. wink.gif

Alfreton pitch would suit our style of play down to the ground absolutely fantastic pitch...

Hopefully an easy draw and then a southern team away in the first round proper for us (southern) exiles.

Being totally selfish Eastbourne Borough away would suit me perfectly only 15 mins from here but no matter who we get lets just hope we can progress

It's got to be Stockport or Chorley at home.

Chorley (or Stockport) would bring more than we'll get again this season.

Crowd at Bamber Bridge for their 3rd rd tie on Saturday was 2,214.

Pretty sure this round is regionalised so you are going to have to wait another round for that draw possibility. After having the misfortune to get Halifax two years ago and Gateshead last season I just hope we get a more straightforward looking qualifying draw this time.

No thanks, they would probably beat us!

Noticed Bristol Rovers took over 1200 fans to Aldershot on Saturday. I have a feeling that they could give us our biggest gate of the season.

Just to explain a bit more about why Laurence Kirby said at Friday's Exiles meeting that a win in the 4th Q Rd is worth a "conservative" £30,000 to the club. Not only is it a case of the £12,500 prize money for winning the round.

But all Non-League clubs who go into the 1st round proper, also take their share of a pot of cash. The amount in that pot varies each season but it's typically from £11,000-£18,000 per club. So, along with ticket revenue, you can see why it's worth £30k or more.

So my vote is definitely for a winnable 4th Q Round tie. cityscarf.gif

Well in the past maybe Sue but we have the Steve Burr factor this season! COYB!!!!! cityscarf.gif

Just checking Day Returns to Stockport. Any chance this may be a changed KO time???

Given that Macclesfield have drawn Wrexham at home, I don't think the police would
be too happy with those two games taking place at the same time. One of them will
probably get moved.

I don't expect a three-way conversation between three police forces will be decided quickly either.

Could be wrong but thought Stockport came under GMP while Macclesfield was CP. If so surely two separate police forces could cope with a 4th qualifying round cup match.

I think it is the British Transport Police who would have the most to deal with if both
matches have the same kick off time.
