Now i know we are all down at the results yesterday crying.gif but lets all pull together and all turn up on saturday and get right behind the whole squad that has done so well for most of the season, And lets not forget tuesdays game Lancaster city v skem we could still have that 1 point advantage and the better goal difference which is worth a point.
So with only 3 games left if tuesdays result goes our way then it is still in our own hands unsure.gif

Hopefully you lot do us a favour tuesday night! 3 games to go for us 9 points and we will have 100 - anyone who gets 100 points has gone close for the title or won it. Skem will feel the pressure if we can win our next 2....#THINKING POSITIVE

Whatever Lancaster do against Skem we have no control and shouldn't worry about it.

The main thing is that we get as many supporters as possible inside the ground on Saturday to help the lads take 3 points off Bamber Bridge. If we win on Saturday, then whatever Lancaster do in their next 2 games, we'll be in with a shout.

We are all hoping for the best tomorrow but whatever the outcome we should all turn up on Saturday to applaud the boys off after the last home league game of our very first season. It's been a brilliant season whatever the outcome- fans are disappointed only because we had such a big lead at one stage but on the whole we have achieved most of our goals- a team to watch again, a quality squad, a good league position, a strong platform for year 2 and we are still in with a chance of promtion- as champions or through the play offs. I was thinking of going, but unlikely to finish work in time.
Could have been a real depressing drive home though.

Went to watch Hereford at Telford in the Conference winning year. It was the coldest night ever and Hereford looked good and won.
Came away more worried than if I hadn't!

Sadly i think Lancaster will lose, and Skem will win their last 4 games without too much trouble. Every team in this league wants us to stay in it for the finance we bring, so there will be some weakened teams out vs Skem, and full strength against our lot!!!

Didn't you come up the theory that Chorley were going to lose to Skem on purpose?

I'm in agreement that I can't see Skem losing any of their last 4 games either but all these 'theories' people keep spreading make me laugh. Bit like the one earlier in the season that there was a 'conspiracy' because we hadn't been given a penalty whilst Chorley had been given tons.

I think our main problem will be away at Prescot next mqnday we have struggled on bumpy pitches and what I remember of Precots pitch it will be like playing on a rock hard ploughed field . As for tonight it should be end to end stuff when Lancaster came to our place last week they came for a game of football and not to park the bus and kick lumps out of us as they have nothing to play for I think they will do this again which gives us a good chance of winning . By the way anyone going to Fylde by car your sat-nav will tell you you've arrived in the middle of the road .Carry on a feww 100 yards when you come to a pub on your left drive into the car park and out the other side then you'll see the ground .Good luck in the play-offs hope to see you back at our place next season.Keep singing the blues Firsthalffarender.

Same to you mate! A draw will be a good result for Skem tonight, all about not losing and falling even a point off the pace.

Haha HB - I like it. biggrin.gif

After Sat it felt like a punch in the stomach with the performance, key moments and last gasp russian linesman moment...however Skem still have to perform in their last 4 games. The last 2 games have been wins via penalties - can they lead the pack? We will see! I still feel we might get 1 more chance to take command of the league but we need to win 3 out of 3.

From the quote overheard from a Curzon Director I doubt you will find the home game on Saturday too challenging... glare.gif but I am sure there can/will be slip ups from both of our sides before the end.

curzon have every incentive to win as many games as possible in order to get a home tie in the semi finals of the play offs, hence they need to finish 3rd, which they have every chance of doing
