What a day eh? Couldnt believe the crowd for the east stand was qued to the gate, but thankfully the club had the foresight to only allow season ticket holders in the far end. What an atmosphere in the ground and all!

Didnt think we played particualy well, and there were several occasions when i was just waiting for it to hit the back of our net. But we won. Dont know exactly how stampy got to that ball, but...

And what about that save in the first half by Turner, he only just got his fingertips to it. He's a great prospect for the future for Everton.

:punk: Like many, it's probably been one of the best days of my life. Had a tear in my eye and I'm sure a lot of other people did too. It's one of them days when you realise just how great football actually is, and just another one of them days that I realise why I love CCFC so much. bowdown.gif

Congratulations to all the players and staff at the club....everybody is so proud of you.

still hasnt sunk in yet. better had do. i supported england fearcily in the rugby world cup, and it still hasnt sunk in, so the excitement hasnt really been there even though we were the champions of the world, quite literally. im sure chester going up once im back at school. im going to get everyone that goes to the kings school chester to come out and celebrate. i saw quite a few people at chester from school today on the pitch after the match. we can have a mass celebration at our school.

Went through the gamut of emotions today. From excitement at the day itself to dread that Scarborough would score. I nearly had a heart attack when they hit the post.

The atmosphere today was superb. I wish it could be like that at every game but sadly I don't think that will happen until another big day. All the same 5,987 did make the effort to get in and I did hear someone say that a few hundred had been locked out so who knows we may have snared a few more converts!

HELLO. CHESTER ARE BACK! :scarf:

And we that are left grow old with the years,
Remembering the heartache, the pain and the tears.
Hoping and praying, that never again,
Man will sink to such sorrow and shame.
The price that was paid, we will always remember,
Every day, every month, not just in November
