Come on folks, there is a game today. After recent performances, let's hope the stay away fans turn up and boost the attendance. It will be interesting to see whether the departure of Sharps has any effect. I'm going for an attendance of 2150 and a hard fought 2-1 win.

Should be a good gate today. Bit parky out, but lovely blue skies with white fluffy clouds this morning. A warm coat, hot drink and a Chester Pie might come in handy later! cityscarf.gif

2,218 and a 1-1 draw Bromley are on a run of form at the moment, but we despite the recent decent results we are on a bit of a winless run which we need to nip in the bud

Should be over 2,000 for this . . . shame the next two fixtures aren't the other way around, because Burr has revived Southport in the league and they would have brought a lot more today than Tuesday. Can't fault their efforts of late but Aabi and Richards need to start knocking a few in.

Home from Australia for this one and really looking forward to it after the great performance at Tranmere.
I predict a comfortable win to break my curse of never seeing us win any of the dozen or so games I've managed to get to during trips home since moving down under five years ago.

They dont appear to be on any great run of form. Last 4 games won 2 and lost 2.

Need the fans to get behind them from the start, it obviously meant a lot at Preston Park so let's do it home.

That was back to the sort of display we suffered against Maidstone.

They seemed a bit lost without Sharpsy giving instructions from the side.

Felt like a defeat whereas last week's draw felt like a win.

We really need to beat Southport .

Seems like we keep drawing at the moment however well or badly we play. Not a disaster but we need to pick up a few wins over these next few games.

Well that was truly awful the only player to come out of that game with any credit was Shaw who was head and shoulders above anyone else
