That Johnwareing1 character was exposed and quickly back-tracked on what he said. The prick.

It's amazing how serious people take football. Well, I say amazing, what i mean is pathetic. To get so wound up, especially after a game has finished, is moronic and inexcuseable after the age of 16. That said, comments like the above are inexcuseable at any age.

Let's not tar all Liverpool fans though and it's been said a gazillion times before but every club has their fair share of arseholes.

Unbelievable! After the events of the past 10 days surrounding Hillsborough they above anyone should realise that life is more important than football and that compassion for fellow human beings is important in tragic circumstances.

As moronic as the scores of Man U fans who chanted moronically after the game while they were being held in the ground; John Motson described them and their comments on radio 5 tonight.

These 4 Twitter warriors should be prosecuted; Mark halsey has complained to the Police, the CPS has the power to prosecute

Would be a wake up call to all pathetic cyber warriors; including a few on DC

Which was total unprovocated? Not a United or Liverpool fan, but the chanting occurred after numerous Liverpool fans ran towards the Anfield Road end doing airplane impressions.

And LFC fans I know who were there at the game saw what went on and are calling for the club to ban these people.

I didn't agree with Shelvey's red card, but Halsey got all the other big decisions in the game spot on.

If you'd heard the torrent of abuse the bloke who entered the turnstile in front of me, gave to the turnstile operator at Altrincham away, you would be pretty embarrassed about some of our 'fans'.

Unfortunately it is a problem with society.

Well said all and do agree not all supporters of that club should classed the same as them pricks,

To be honest i thought Liverpool played well and were unlucky a soft sending of maybe but if the boot was on the other foot? Which it has been previously it would have a totally different story!

I work with a lot of Liverpool fans and there as fickle as anyone when Rafa was there boss one week he was the worst and the next couple of week after a couple of wins he was the dogs!

I'm surprised that a ref from Greater Manchester was chosen to referee a game between Liverpool and Manchester United. I'm not suggesting at all that he was biased, but I thought they usually tried to avoid that sort of thing.

First of all a Referee having Twitter is a very dangerous thing, it is only going to cause problems.

Secondly, things like this are disgusting. But you cannot say 'oh typical Liverpool fans', because its 4 people out of millions of people worldwide. It's the same with United fans and hillsborough chants, it is always the minority and the majority are nice people who'd never dream of coming out with any of that sort of thing.

It's more a problem with society than with any one particular football club.

Judging an entire set of fans by what a few of them say on the internet is a remarkably stupid thing to do. Lets face it this place isnt exactly a very good advert for our fans at times either.
