The Welsh FA have overturned Cardiff's Darren Purse's red card for this apparent "tackle". This means he is no longer suspended, and can now play for the Welsh club in the English FA Cup final against Portsmouth.

Hmmmm, can you smell anything......? rolleyes.gif

Ridiculous decision and how can the FA allow that decision to stand?? Time to sort out this English/Welsh nonsense once and for all.

It's a joke and I don't think the Welsh FA are doing themselves any favours. It's perfectly obvious why they've overturned that and it stinks.

Wouldn't it be nice if we could get the Cheshire FA to overrule all our negative decisions? rolleyes.gif

The easy decision is to make Welsh teams play in the Welsh League and English to play in the English!

I have nothing against the Welsh, but they always seem to want the best of both worlds in sport and in Politics.

So proud of being Welsh, yet they won't support their own league and hardly anyone speaks Welsh ( respect to the ones that do ) Yet we as taxpayers pay how much to have road signs in welsh and English and for free perscriptions for them?

Let's be honest, the Welsh FA have wangled it for Cardiff City. Just like when they fined them an ooooOOOGGH MASSIVE fine after the Leeds ttrouble - £20,000 pounds. What a joke.

Your Welsh, you join it!
Know one wants you in the English league, like we don't want Rangers or Celtic!
Is that just too painfull for you to except?
The English hate you and the Welsh speakers hate you for kissing English a**e...........

If you want the other Wr**h*m fan to post something in Welsh, I suggest you try posting something in English first.

Later on I will try and clean this thread up to get back on track, which is the disgraceful situation that the Welsh FA can rule on players in leagues outside their jurisdiction!!

It's like the Scottish FA ruling that the sending off of Cousin today doesn't count and he can play in the final!!

Thanks G&R, I can't be bothered to go on the ' Welsh to English' Dictionary site like yourself wink.gif

Nite, some of us have to be up for the early shift and don't have the luxury of getting up at noon waiting for Jeremy Kile to come on G&R.
Is the hit man and her still on as repeats ?

Many of them do speak Welsh and a great deal more of them can spell prescription, by the way we have free hospital parking as well which is also great. Time for the FA to sort things out certainly but don't confuse the issue by introducing non football matters into a football arguement.

It is a disgraceful situation which has been going on for years. How many sendings off have Wrecsam had overturned? Hector Sam springs to mind immediately.

The fact that the Welsh FA have done it in such a high profile situation might make the English powers-that-be sit up and take notice and do something about it. This is a loophole that needs closing. If Welsh teams want to play in the English leagues and enter English cup competitions they must be prepared to accept decisions made by the English authorities. Nothing else is acceptable.

There must be a level playing field for everyone. The Welsh are leaving themselves wide open to accusations of cheating. Which, of course, they are.

If a welsh club is in the English league
it should be the English FA that sorts out there problems.
if they don't like it, they can go to the WPL

I think everybody agree's that the Welsh FA's decision to overturn Darren Purse's 3 match ban was ever so slightly suspect to say the least and to a degree i can understand the call's for the Welsh club's that play in the English league's to come under English FA rules and i think if people take a look on the Wr**h*m fan's forum you will see that most thought the same, but however what got me was how knuckle scrapper shaun ridder decided that he would have have a pop at most thing's Welsh and mainly wrong, but i would however point out that if it came down to location that decided the governing FA body then surely you have a case in jester to pick and choose the Welsh FA or the English FA due to your pitch being in Wales and your offices being in England you may be able to pick the best outcome to suit, that would be nice eh Shaun. And just to finish off with i don't remember jester complaining to much when they were forced to play in the old Welsh Cup and being forced to pick up the Welsh Cup when you won it on a couple of occation's...... wink.gif
