So it is the first of two long away trips down to London today against a Bromley side who are surprisingly in the play-offs. Our recent performances in the league have been promising, but it is a must that we translate them into results. I know that Marcus Bignot is working harder than ever to rectify the problem. I really can’t wait as I will be travelling down today to watch the game. Hopefully it will be a happy trip home for me. Come On City!
Score: Bromley 0-1 Chester FC (Akintunde)
Attendance: 1,026 (143 Chester)
COYB!

Decent point today. Both teams created opportunities but lacked in the final third. The football which we are playing right now is much better, and we did well in those conditions today. Ross Hannah and Nyal Bell both missed a couple of sitters in the second half. Hannah hit the post, and Bell should have put the ball in the net in the 18-yard-area. However, we held on against a good Bromley team and defended quite well, with us also clearing 2 chances off the line.
Tuesday’s match is very important as well at Leyton Orient. With a few players being injured, and with Turnbull now suspended, we will have to work even harder. If we do win, then we will be in a nice position. Come On You Blues!
