The Wrexham v Aldershot match report on BBC Football describes a crowd of 4308 as being "a crowd of nearly 5000".

Really? rolleyes.gif

Once you latch on to the bias, it's there every week...

Sent a note to the BBC 3mm, there was only one match previewed on the NL site on Friday, guess which one?

Still happening this season. The bias towards Wrexham is blatantly obvious.

Just looked at BBC Football for the National League, and there's only one game previewed... Tranmere v you know who, which, of course, is listed first, despite being last alphabetically.

It's just a game between two mid-table sides, so why is it featured as being the most important? rolleyes.gif

You just trust the BBC 3mm, they are supposed to be impartial and unfair, but they are biased about almost everything! rolleyes.gif

Interesting match report on BBC Football, no Tom Shaw in our team, and I don't remember his replacement Jones doing much at all today, but he did get booked, apparently!

According to the BBC we had a bigger crowd than the Tranmere v Wrexham match. Can that be right?

It’s because of BBC Wales, they cover all their games, there’s only Swansea, Cardiff, Newport and then Wrexham. Whack Colwyn Bay in there they would get the same coverage.

Hehehe they've corrected the team, sort of. Shaw is now included (as no 8) and is subbed by Turnbull (also no 8). And Kingsley James has disappeared now, but Jones is still in there!

Chester (as at 8am 25/9/2017)

1 Lynch
2 Halls
5 McCombe
8 Shaw Substituted forTurnbull at 80' minutes Booked at 86mins
3 Rowe-Turner
6 Astles
18 Jones Booked at 77mins
17 Dawson
7 Mahon Substituted for Joyce at 80 'minutes
20 Akintunde Substituted for Bell at 89' minutes
10 Hannah

Substitutes

8 Turnbull
12 Davies
14 Joyce
15 Bell
27 Sheron

To be fair the BBC get their info from the Press Association so they won't be the only ones to have got it wrong. Soccerbase has as well.
